IPL 2018: Daredevils not happy to play away form home for few matches...

The Delhi Daredevils aren't happy that their team will be playing first five IPL games away from home due to change in the schedule twice - courtesy closure of the Chandigarh airport and state elections in Karnataka. Sources told TOI that the franchisee officials did speak to the board about how other teams are getting to play at home while Delhi is the only team to play so many matches away from home.

With all teams preferring to play the first few of their games at home, Delhi was also scheduled to play their first home game on April 8 against the Kings XI. But due to Chandigarh airport closure from May 12 to 31, the April 8 match against the Kings will be played in Mohali. The board did another rejig of the schedule after the IPL match clashed with the Karnataka elections. The Delhi versus Royal Challengers' match which was to be played at Kotla on April 21 will now be held in Bangalore. The return leg match between the same team, which was supposed to be held in Bangalore on May 12, will be held in Delhi.
